Saltholme Celebration Event

River Tees Rediscovered has teamed up with RSPB Saltholme and a host of other partners to create a fantastic feast of fun as part of Saltholme’s 10th anniversary week. With family quizzes, film showings, special guided tours of the new England Coast Path before its official opening, poetry readings, smoothie bike, pond dipping and bug hunting, there’s something for everyone looking to celebrate what makes the Tees and its estuary such a special place for people and wildlife.

The event is on Wednesday 29th May 10am-4pm and to mark the date, entry to RSPB Saltholme is completely free!

Chris Corbett, Groundwork Ne & Cumbria Community and Access Officer said,” We’re so grateful to our partners across the board, particularly the RSPB who is hosting us and our many delivery partners who are bringing fantastic activities along to the event. It’s a true celebration of partnership working and what River Tees Rediscovered has achieved over the last 5 years and, it’s all free!”
